This is a community for memes inspired by The Baby-sitters Club series. This includes the regular series, mysteries, super mysteries, super specials, California Diaries, Little Sister, TV show, movie, anything you can think of. If it relates to BSC, you're good! You can also follow us at |
1.) No bashing other members in comments. 2.) Memes shouldn't be anymore than 500px in width. No one wants an obnoxious 1000px image flooding their friends page. Don't know how to tell if something is under 500px? Upload to a site such as Photobucket. Or, if you want to be lazy, this meme is 500px so you can use it as a comparison. 3.) On the flip side, these are BSC memes, not BSC icons. I'm not going to give a minimum requirement for width, but 300px is probably a good one to aim for. 4.) If more than 2 memes have already been posted within the past 24 hours, please wait until the next day to post your meme, just so we don't start flooding friends pages. 5.) Tags are open for anyone to create, so have fun! The only requirement is that you tag each post with the name of the character(s) in the meme. |
If you want to make memes yourself, there are several options! You can use a program like Adobe Photoshop if you have it or you can use GIMP, which is a free graphics program. But honestly, both of those just make the process much more complicated than it needs to be. If you're used to one of those and prefer them though, then go for it. I use a program called Meme Generator, which can be found on the Mac App Store for those of you running OS X. It's free and each meme only takes about thirty seconds to create. If you're running Windows 7 (or if you're on OS X and don't like Meme Generator), then iMeme is also an option. If you'd prefer to create memes from your web browser, rather than downloading new software, then that's an option too. Here are just a few of the sites you can use: Meme Generator, Quick Meme, ZipMeme. Then you'll just need to upload your memes to a site such as Photobucket to share! As far as bases go, you can either create your own or you can use any of the ones I have uploaded here. Bases will continue to be added to that link. |
